First, I have to apologize for not updating on Monday.  Things have been crazy around here!  Part of it has to do with my other responsibilities outside the comics realm, but the other part of it has to do with ramping up for my new comic, Boone Town, which I’ve retooled and have been working on graphics for the new site and drawing/writing comics.  I’ve gotten up to a pace where I am hand sketching and inking comics one or two a day – which is something I didn’t think I’d have the stamina to do.

With that having been said, it pains me to say, but Unbearable Bears will be going on another hiatus.  This time I can’t be sure when it will return, but I’m confident it will.

This comic is my first attempt at really doing anything on my own, from scratch, and without a real plan as to what I was going to make of it.  My new project is much better realized and thought out, and I feel my attention needs to be there right now.  Comics, for me, is giving out something special to lovers of the medium and an enticement to potential comics lovers so that this community of artists, writers, and readers can really grow and thrive.  I want to create and get better at this so that you can enjoy it all the more.  Sure, okay, a little money here and there is great, but, you know where that money ultimately goes?  It goes back into making more comics, more art, and hopefully into creating more lovers of comics!

So, here’s to MORE COMICS!
